Lily surely is a chatty baby. I don't think she was quiet from the moment she woke up this morning to the moment she left. She was just a babbling away. At one point, she was looking at me and saying "dah dah dah dah dah!" And then she'd stop and do it again. She was definitely trying to tell me something important. Funny.
But the cool thing lately is how much more she's pointing and gesturing to get her meaning across. It's not really a new thing, but more and more she's showing linguistic intent, and it's neat to see.
You know what else was neat? Last night I was reading Baby Happy, Baby Sad (I freaking love this book), and she pointed to the picture of the cat, and then she pointed to Kitty. Cool, huh?
