Our sort-of 4th of July party.

There are some holidays that I find are much better in Florida, but the 4th of July ain't one of them.

Yeah, it's hot. But not only that, it rains. While it rarely rains for an entire day in Florida, that's what it did every day of the 4th of July weekend.

So we made the best of it and got together with friends. Inside.

We had some red, white, and blue. Raspberries and blueberries covered in white chocolate deliciousness. Mmmmmm.
There was corn on the cob.
And a tea party! Honestly, what's more July 4th than a tea party?

And our girls reminded us that two-year-olds do not like to share. But it's not like we're raising them to be socialists or something.
We also had music at our little party.
Rock it, girl.
And it wouldn't be a sort-of 4th of July party without a parade.

Poor unwilling participant, Murphy.

Divas!

We didn't have fireworks to end our party, but we did have lots of tickles and giggles.

This picture doesn't fit in to my story but I love it. Gorgeous mom and baby girl. I'm jealous of your curls.
